This special cuvée was first created in 1984 by the Carthusian Fathers to commemorate the 900th anniversary of the founding of the Carthusian Order in 1084 by Saint Bruno.
To produce this unique blend, the monks carefully selected Chartreuse liqueurs with different ageing profiles, creating a spirit of remarkable aromatic subtlety and complexity. It is distinguished by a perfect balance between powerful herbal intensity and delicate floral notes.
Entirely natural and crafted according to the traditional Chartreuse methods, this cuvée shares the same character and authenticity as Green Chartreuse, while offering a softer and more refined expression.
