Macán Clásico is the result of the partnership between two of the most respected names in the wine world: Vega Sicilia and the Benjamin de Rothschild family. Created in Rioja with the ambition of producing wines that combine the elegance of traditional Rioja with a modern interpretation of terroir, the project has quickly established itself among the region’s leading estates.
Produced predominantly from Tempranillo grown in selected vineyards, Macán Clásico is designed to express freshness, balance and precision while remaining approachable in its youth. The wine benefits from meticulous vineyard management and the extensive experience of both families in crafting fine wines with ageing potential.
The 2022 vintage represents one of the newest releases available on the market and is expected to evolve positively over the coming years, gaining additional complexity and refinement in bottle.
