Pintia is the flagship wine of Bodegas y Viñedos Pintia, the Toro estate belonging to the prestigious Vega Sicilia group. The project was launched in the mid-1990s with the ambition of demonstrating the exceptional potential of the Toro region while preserving the elegance and precision associated with Vega Sicilia.
Produced primarily from old-vine Tinta de Toro (Tempranillo), Pintia combines concentration, depth and structure with remarkable balance and ageing potential. Over the years it has become one of the benchmark wines of Toro and one of Spain’s most internationally acclaimed modern wines.
The 2021 vintage reflects the estate’s continued pursuit of excellence and is considered a wine with significant cellaring potential.
